Defying luck on Friday, March 13, 2026, Assanhado release their first self-titled album with the leading Catalan jazz label, The Changes.

 

Just as the project has traveled from Amsterdam in 2015 to Lisbon, Rome and finally Barcelona, ​​this album is also a journey through the music that Marta and Leo love most.

 

It begins in Brazil with classics like Desde Que O Samba é Samba by Caetano Veloso and the rebellious Zé Do Caroço, passes through the United States with Evil by Stevie Wonder, arrives in Portugal with Fado da Tristeza, and culminates in Catalonia with Enyorança, a poem set to music by the duo.
